It’s time to clean out the fermented grain bucket. It’s become a bit stinky even for my tastes but is gold around the garden. The lovely microbe rich liquid that’s stinking up the place is a super food for the soil so doesn’t go to waste
Our girls are fussy. Very fussy. They will kill for fermented grain and devour the freshest seedlings in the garden but they stopped eating the fodder that I was growing in the DIY fodder system.
Last night was great fun. Graham and Annemarie Brookman and myself presented the workshop ‘Abundance in your Summer Garden’ to a group of around 30 participants at the Food Forest in Gawler.
