    Combo plots 

    A lot of plants work together nicely. In our search to save space, we’re using a group of plants (called a guild in permaculture) that works nicely where Jelina comes from.     Too extreme? 

    We’ve tried so many things to keep the birds off of the aquaponics where they keep killing our new seedlings. We’ve had wire, nets, hanging CDs, all to no avail.  I was at a local hardware store yesterday and found this guy staring down at me. He’s a bird scaring Owl whose eyes reflect light…
