a little garden near Gawler
Ophelia is one of our newest girls, sister to Demeter.
We’re not sure what to make of Ophelia, she’s kind of quiet and just drifts around the yard. She’s not as destructive as the others and prefers digging deeply to get worms than rampaging through the green veggies.
In Summer, she dug a little dust bathing spot so deep and wide that it undermined one of the legs of the rainwater tank by the chook yard. Luckily the tank was well supported by its other three legs and didn’t topple.
