Herbal update

I’ve been busy this weekend and have updated the Wild Foods & Medicines page with the addition of the herb, Cleavers (Galium aparine) now that I remembered to photograph it this year.

The list of herbs covered in our Herbs in the Garden page has also been expanded with the addition of the genuine superfood, Watercress and the Ayurvedic herb Brahmi.

I don’t think there are any more herbs that we use regularly hidden anywhere in our garden or that we regularly forage locally. Our list of Bushfoods & Bush Medicines is similarly full.

We’ve certainly squeezed all the perennials we can into our small space at Ligaya Garden and I’ll be redoing the Plant Lists soon too to reflect what we’ve had success with over the last year.

Please, enjoy perusing these pages. Ouch. I just saw one more herb tucked away under the Water Parsley. I need a break!
