Its been a while and a lot’s happened

Ive been really slack in keeping the blog running consistently. The wife asked me NOT to post every little thing we did to make the house sustainable and to get a really amazing garden going.

and finally to this…

All in about 16 months!

A compromise has been reached, and I’ll work back over the last year and a half and cover the main things we did and dig up lots of pictures.  What we did really broke the bank, but is startng to shelter and feed us for less and less every month. The bills have seen us reducing our use to the point that we’re excited now every time one comes in (well, not that excited…we’ve still got to pay them).

Now we are comfortably sure of ourselves, happy that our ideas are working and that we can prove that, and argue our case with detractors, we are ready to share most of it with the world.
