Slugs!

For a week now I’ve had some slug traps out. Just a simple yeast, sugar and water mix bait in cut out soft drink bottles.

I’ve been puzzled about why the leafy greens are still getting eaten.

As it wasn’t too cold or wet tonight. I popped out for a bit of an examination.

The pics above show virtual slug orgies going on in both traps! They’re sampling the brew and hanging around to chew on the leaves, then head off for a slug hangover in the dark!
