My DIY bioreactor for scrubbing CO2. #2

Step 2 in making the bioreactor. Now the algae has settled into the tanks, I have added airlines and a 12V airpump to introduce a steady airflow.

The airlines are weighted down to the bottom of the tanks with pieces of rusty iron. My thinking with this is that this will keep a supply of iron available to the algae for chlorophyll production. Having this supply near the airflow will ensure good circulation.

The pump is running from some old D batteries I was thinking of trashing. It also has a 12V car battery input thst I will modify to take a small solar panel in stage 3.
